WEAVING A SILVER STAR in Flesh and Blood

  On Saturday Sept 12th 2004, Orryelle Defenestrate-Bascule had the
seven-pointed Star of Babalon - the Silver Star - woven from hir body
to and fro a Gifu/Gebo (rune of gift, sacrifice and partnership) X
cross and hir KiaQyl staff.

   Extantly this was a performance at Melbourne Fetish club 'Abode'; but
it was also an intense 3-and-a-half-hour personal ritual for the
participants. It symbolized Orryelle's transition into the Throne of
Netzach -Sephiroth of Love, emotion, sexuality and sensuality on the
Tree of Life- in the 11-star Working of the Horus-Maat Lodge.
    The piercing and weaving was performed by Tesssa. Great care and
patience was taken to slowly create the web, which was not obviously a
7-pointed Star until towards the end of the extended rite: It was
deliberately woven in a concealed manner to be revealed at the rite's
culmination.
    Orryelle's arms were tied up above hir head to a candleabra above
the X cross, with the  threads going through piercings made on the
edges of hir palms. Ankles were also bound tight to the X cross so that
constraint increased the power of release at rite's end.
   When eventually untied, he stepped back and lowered freed arms to
tighten the threads and *unfold* the seven-pointed Star of Babalon to
the pre-designed plan as shown in the photographs (by Tesssa).  Despite
having not been fully tested prior, this worked effectively!

   Throughout the 3-and-a-half-hour rite Orryelle was performing various
deep breathing exercises to increase the gnosis provided also by the
piercings, the constraint and the Netzachian sensuality and sexuality
explored with the Priestess.  S/he also chanted the names of Love
Goddesses appropriate to hir new throne:  Venus, Aphrodite, Bast, Freya
and especially of course Babalon whose Star s/he was womanifesting. The
names of the runes Gebo (which was also being echoed with asana) and
Wunjo (Joy) were also chanted at the rite's ecstatic culmination. All
pain was transmuted effectively into pleasure.
   After a year and a day of holding the more abstracted throne of
Kether, the transition off the middle pillar into the sensuality of
Netzach was powerful.

  Earlier in the night Orryelle and Tesssa had performed at the same
club a condensed version of their Babalon and the Beast piece (Arcana

The energy of Babalon was then transferred during the weaving from the
Priestess into the Priest/ess Orryelle...

  Strange geometries were formed from the intersection of the 7-point
Star of Babalon with the 5-pointed pentacle of Earth tattooed on hir
palm, and the 13-point
  Star of Ma-nifestation tattooed upon hir chest, connecting via the
re-piercing of the spider-abdomen nipple thereon to the 13th-Tribe
Weaving

   (A funny aside is that the only thin strong white thread we found for
the performance at short notice was dental floss. Ironically there was
a dentist chair in the space where we performed the rite, and I was
reminded that the strange SilKMilK material (what else would come from
a spidernipple?? -see http://www.crossroads.wild.net.au/silkmilk.htm )
scientists had been developing from the splicing of spider and goat
genes, is being funded primarily by the dental industry!   ...The
Hebrew letter 'Shin' is represented by the Tooth and the Aeon -the
corresponding Arcana XX-  is upon us)
