107 Sun/Venus Conjunction Rite

Solar Child

Before presenting the working that was performed, I think it is
essential to provide some background information. So here is a brief
synopsis elaborating the meanings and significance of the Sun/Venus
Conjunction. With permission, from the archives of the Gnostic
Alchemical Church of Typhon-Christ.
 

The sacred number of Venus is seven and is mentioned no fewer than
seven times on the Great Seal of the A.'.A.'. whose English title
is "The Silver-Star" another allusion to Venus. This secret hinted
at through the orders of antiquity as a sign "More ancient than
history" is a naturally occurring phenomenon that is observable and
therefore repeatable through time.The Sun Venus Pentagram
When plotted from the surface of earth over an eight year period the
Superior conjunctions of the Sun and Venus form a five pointed star
or Pentagram each conjunction is 72 degrees apart. This unusual
Geometrical shape occurs perfectly naturally in the heavens and was a
sign of sanctity to the Ancients.

The importance of the Sun/Venus conjunction as an Initiatory trigger
is mentioned in a wide range of Holy Books. The first half of the
Alchemical formula Solve et Coagula is a direct reference to the Holy
Pentagram for the sun is the Latin Sol and Ve is Venus. In Liber AL
the consideration of astrological factors in the performance of
initiation is declared by Nuit " Invoke me under my stars ! " (1 :57)
What star in particular one might ask? The answer is provided in the
text " The Five pointed-star" (1:60)..

Liber AL continues to reinforce the point. "Solve the first half of
the Equation" the allusion is to SUN + VENUS = 107. There are many
107's in Liber AL these include : - THE SNAKE -"that giveth
knowledge " MAGICIAN, HOUSE OF GOD, THY LIGHT and THE VAULT.
The first half of the equation , the Macrosmic factor is therefore
the Sun/Venus conjunction but this is insufficient without the
conjunction of Man and Woman in the Microcosm.

MAN + WOMAN = 82 = BALANCED = ADEPT. The Rosy Cross of the adepts
consists of a Golden Cross surmounted by a five petalled red Rose at
its centre. Venus and Woman are symbolically represented by the Rose.
Man and the Sun are the Cross. HE + SHE + LOVE = 107 = SUN + VENUS.
This is the true interpretation of the complex symbolism of the
Rosicrucians and their various derivative off-shoots. The symbols
have been confused for millenia. Now is the time to lift the veils of
ignorance and deflate the bloated egos of sham adepthood.

The Secret Marriage

The Supreme Secret of the Rosicrucians, the Templars and many other
Occult orders is thus married to the Stellar secret of the eternal
A.'.A.'. The fusion of the two provides a method of attainment that
will "regenerate the world". The performance of a Magickal rite
targetted at a precise Sun/Venus conjunction unifies the Microcosm
and the Macrocosm creating the Elixir of Life. ELIXIR = 107 , OF
LIFE = 93 = UNITY, DEITY, 107 + 93 = 200 = MANIFESTATION.
"That which is above is like that which is below... for the
performance of the miracle of the one substance"Spiritual advancement
in this manifestation of the A.'.A.'. system is only possible by
Ordeal.

By undergoing a 107 rite the candidate has indicated that they are
prepared to endure the various personal Ordeals. A "secret door" has
been opened to allow the very forces of the Universe to test the
candidate to the fullest. This is no idle threat. Liber AL is clear
in this respect. Discussion of this topic is continued in the next
section.

The Ordeal of the Beast and The Scarlet Woman

The performance of a Sun/Venus rite will generate the initiatory
process known as the Ordeal X. The exact nature of the ordeals will
vary greatly between individuals since it is intimately
involved with her psychic/physiological make-up.

"The ordeal X is a process one must go through if one is to
comprehend the Mysteries of AL with any degree of understanding and
remain with even a semblance of what is known as sanity.
The ORDEAL X = 75 = BEAST...literally to BE AS T where T = GOD.
Therefore to be a BEAST one must BE AS GOD and to be God we must
transcend manifestation enter the Nothing at X and receive the
initiation of the ordeal experienced when we try and reconcile being
with non-being on our return to manifestation. This is a bad
experience, a really bad experience. The would-be-candidate must be
warned that the ordeal is real and could cause his or her death, it
is not a step to be taken lightly."

The value of THE ORDEAL X is 128 suggesting the unity 1 of duality 2
to infinity 8. It is triggered by the passage of the Sun through the
house of the Dual one or BAPHOMET (128) .

A successful initiation using this method results in the male
aspirant becoming THE BEAST andthe female THE SCARLET WOMAN. Both
titles have the value of 128.The house of the dual one is intimated
in Liber AL chapter 2 verse 78 "... and the name of thy house 418".
But where exactly is this house ?

The number 418 is accorded great importance in Thelemic Magick. The
Temple of Solomon the King deals with the subject at length. Crowley
states that it equates to the word of the Aeon and adds " ...the
symbol will remain the _Expression of the Goal."
To the practitioners of the English Qaballa, 418 remains a number of
seminal import. Two direct references are made in Liber AL about this
concept.

"I call it eight, eighty, four hundred & eighteen." 1 46
"They shall worship thy name, foursquare, mystic, wonderful, the
number of the man; and the name of thy house 418." 2 78
There are numerous phrases within Liber AL that yield the value 418.
These include

"The unveiling of the company of heaven" ,"Aye listen to the numbers
and the words" "foursquare, mystic, wonderful, the number" and
naturally "..of the Ordeal x. What is this? Thou shalt know"
Despite the apparent abundance of 418's in the text, the house of the
dual still appears to be missing. By applying the EQ to astrology it
was discovered that the house of the dual one is generated by adding
the values of the astrological signs LIBRA 58 SCORPIO 93 SAGITTARIUS
146 and CAPRICORN 121 totalling 418.

Immediately after performing a ritual targetted at the conjunction of
the SUN AND VENUS (128) the candidate will undergo the Ordeal x when
the sun sails through the House of Baphomet.

Here also is the solution to the mystery of the Rose-Cross. The Rose
is Venus and Woman, the Cross is Man and the Sun. In uniting these
principles the Elixir of Life is produced.

The magician harmonises and balances the Universe by taking two
elements of the microcosm, Man and Woman, and uniting them in their
unity with two elements of the macrocosm in their unity.

The unity of Man and Woman, Cross and Rose, is sexual congress. The
unity of the Sun and Venus, Cross and Rose, is their conjunction.
When these factors occur in synchronisation the Supreme Rite may be
successfully performed.

Sun + Venus = (36 + 71) = 107. Being (1) and non-being (0) are
expressed in the Goddess (7).

The formula expressed here is that when the Sun conjuncts Venus the
Supreme (131) Universal (Universe=131) rite is to be performed and
the Feast of the Equinox (of the Gods = 131) partaken in.

Serpent = 131 = Universe the snake = 107 = Sun + Venus = of the
Gods (Equinox)

Preparation:

I started preparing for the conjunction a week in advance.
On June 1, I went to a shop and purchased some items for the event. These consisted of a large wooden Camel carving from Indonesia, for the purpose it depicts, that being Gimel and carrying thee adept across the Abyss. It was perfect for my temple space, and the paths ive been working with on a consistent basis. I also came across 2 beautiful silver rings. One has the astrological sign of Venus, and the other has the Sun and a Star in motion. One other particular item caught my attention. That being another carving from Indonesia of a zodiacal wheel with the Sun in the middle and all the zodiacal and astrological birth signs around the glyph. Another beautiful piece to add to my temple space. My spouse came across a green dress with Suns and Stars all over it. Everything we came across was perfect for the upcoming event. When I received the bill for all the items, it came up to 107.93, WOW, I knew at this point the Goddess was with us and things would Manifest in a very synchronized way.

On June 7, we went shopping again to pick up the rest of the supplies we needed. Incense, apples, wine, a new incense holder with a pentagram on it, chocolate candies, candles, and copper. Once again, another beautiful item caught my attention. It was the only one in the shop, and I had never seen anything like it. It was a ceramic pentagram. It has another small pentagram in the center of the larger pentagram. The ceramic piece itself is made of a special plastic that is very durable, unlike pottery. When I got home, I decided to paint it and imbue it with my own personal energy. This initself was a wonderful process in preparing my psyche for the rite later that evening. I painted the backdrop Gold, the larger pentagram green, and the smaller, red, with the circumference red as well. It turned out beautiful, and the colours added a powerful aura to the piece. I had also worked on the piece of copper I had just purchased, by engraving an X and 22 on one side, and an initiation Sigil I had formulated, on the other side.

As for the temple space, I did`nt have a green alter covering, so I decided to improvise with grass, leafs, and yellow flowers.
I had took everything off my altar and reconstructed it in such a way that it would have all the proper elements for the Sun and Venus. It had a Venus flytrap plant, 5 roses, and 1 Sunflower decor, chalice with wine, Nu pentacle/pentagram I had just painted, and I placed cards representing Venus and the Sun, from all my divinatory decks. Pentacles of Venus from Solomon, a statue of Isis, and on the floor at each side of my alter was a statue of the Sphinx, and Bast, with a green Serpent carving in front. Placed 2 apples in front of the Serpent, and I had cut an apple in half to display the pentagram within the center of each, on the alter, representing duality. Frankincense, and Rose incense, green and yellow candles. I really enjoyed putting everything together, and seeing it all Manifest in a passionate, artistic,
creative, love/willed/filled way.

I dressed appropriately wearing green and yellow, a silver pentagram chain, pentagram tongue ring, and my Nu rings (:

Another important factor I emphasized on in preparing for the rite a week in advance, was performing the bornless rite, and entering the 15th path of Dagdagiel and 30th path of Raflifu. I did this each night for a week, and really focused on the upcoming event. I asked for guidence during the whole process. The night I purchased the rings and carvings, I entered the 14th path of Hemethterith and consecrated everything, and asked for guidence with astrology. During the full moon phase of June, I entered the 13th path of Gargophias and asked for guidence as well. The whole process was spectacular and supernatural.

I did alot of research in the weeks beforehand and focused on many key points and characteristics of Venus and her transitions.

The Rite:

Performed LBR, Tree of Life Opening Chakra Rite, chakra tones, astrological planetary alignment mantra and visuals, Invocation to Mine Angel in Tiphereth, self affirmation poem written by Crowley, the Bornless Rite, battery, opened the Vault of the Adepti, and performed the analysis of the key word I.N.R.I using Virgo, Scorpio, and Sol, Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Hexagram, and invoking Hexagrams of Venus, and the Sun. Opened 15th path of Dagdagiel and 30th path of Raflifu, thanked them for their guidence, and ask them to participate in the rite and ensure the certainty of success and empower the rite. Petition offered to Sol and Venus to reveal the mysteries of their conjunction. Assumption of Godforms, read chapters IV and VII from Liber VII, astrally formulated the image of the Goddess and Sun God using the mantra Un-To-Us. Chanted I am VenuSSun, read invocation below > I formulated, and consecrated copper talisman.

Partook of the Fruit, i.e. we bit into our apples.
Said some random words. Toasted with wine, arms interlinked.
Said some vows.

Picked a random Tarot card and received the Star.
While shuffling the cards beforehand, the 6 of Swords flew out. The cards syncronized Perfect with the whole purpose and intent of the working.

Sidenote; I felt a great sense of success with the whole rite, and the energy flowing was immense. Vibrations were very powerful, and I felt really high.
One of the best rites I have ever had the opportunity to perform, and experience.
I noticed a Spider suspended just above the statue of Isis on my alter. It was there for awhile. Made me think of Maat.
Tina seem really disorientated. Her facial colour had changed dramatically, and she had shortness of breath, so much so, she thought it was the wine at first. She appeared to be overwhelmed, and overpowered. In my opinion, the trouble breathing has something to do with Venus, as the lungs are part of her attributes.

"THE WANDERING STARS IN THEIR COURSES"(418)

I experienced this the second night after the conjunction.
Being pulled through the universe.

When I went to bed that night, as I lay there, I was suddenly struck
with the most intense Vision/Vibration I have ever encountered/experienced.
My head started buzzing immensly, and I felt really high.
Then suddenly I could feel the Universe and it was asif I was linked
to Venus and being pulled along her path with her. It was nausiating.
I felt really dizzy, sick to my stomache, driven back, and alittle freightened.
I could feel the Force of the Universe. It suddenly dawned on me what
I was in for, for the next 8 years. And I also realized this is only
the beginning of the alchemical and conscious change/effects within myself and
undertaking Ordeal X. The vibrations I felt and heard in my head were
very dramatic. I have never experienced this powerful of a current
before. Incredible, supernatural, and out of this world. Words cannot
describe the feelings/sensations! Its alittle scary, lol.
One thing I know now with certainty, its real, and ive succeeded with being
thrust into her Journey!

Let my Journey be safe and filled with an array of beauty,
wisdom, love, and fortitude.

"The passage of the Sun through the House 418 will precipitate a great
change in the consciousness of the aspirant. The initial harmony of
the psyche is upset in Libra. The scales are tipped, the Ordeal
begins."

There were days where I literally felt like I was on the verge of insanity.
I felt very emotional, i.e felt an influx of emotions, and
experienced new vibrations of unfamiliarity, and intenseness within my psyche.
Alot of conflict began to happen externally btwn myself and others within
the cybercosm, thus resulting in internal conflicts.

Started really questioning my path, where its headed, and the quarrels I
had encountered. Struggles still ensued with conflicts. Had a few very
intense moments that really made me think! Came to the realisation this was
all part of my Ordeal.

"As the Sun continues its course the aspirant is presented with new
concepts and stimulus in Sagittarius these solidify in Capricorn creating
tremendous tension within the magician.
A Duality has been created at the centre of her
being that must be resolved."

The Egyptian Oracle reading. The Pyramid card change. Temptation,
good and evil, etc... This reading re-occured. The struggle ive
had in balancing both forces. Felt like I was caught in btwn both worlds and
struggling to find truth, and a balance. Felt a tremendous amount of tension!

Less conflicts, however a few still occured, and I decided to step back
and re-evaluate things. Went into a period of `solitary silence`.

I had many new concepts present themselfs within this period.

The afternoon my second daughter Star* was born, I was laying on a reclining chair in
the hospital room whilst Tina was in labor waiting to deliver. We had been up all night
and I started drifting off into a state of lucid dreaming. I had a dream of a Sphinx
communicating to me about the birth of my daughter and giving me BleSsings.
The Sun was Shining very Bright in the background as well. It appeared to be at
the Great Pyramid in Giza. It was also a very beautiful Sunny day outside in the wake world.
I have little memory of what the Sphinx was communicating, but I knew it was positive,
and had a profound Spiritual significance.

and then 8 days after the birth of my daughter I received "The Phi Gate and the New Earth
Maiden" message from my mentor/spiritual brother.

On Tues Jan 18, I came across the hidden/secret writings of the
Sanctuary of the Gnosis, hidden from the profane and only given to adepts
of the order, thus resulting in being given the keys to understanding the secret
instructions, and the higher degrees. I felt this to be very significant, and
had waited years to come into this knowledge.

Before the day of the Sun/Venus conjunction Tina noted that both our
birthdays added up to 5, but each reversing each other, 23 and 32.
We are both Gemini`s with our birthdays right inbtwn the
conjunction, and adding up to 15, revealed in the Devil card as Adam and
Eve chained below the Devil. This metaphorically and symbolically speaking.

Ron introduced me to the Mayan calendar and ive been studying
it ever since, and made a conscious effort to follow the natural cycles
of time. Thus shifting into a Nu evolutionary awareness, and vibration.

At this very moment as I sit here and complete writing this, the Sun is in Pisces,
and putting all the above into its proper perspective has thus enabled me
to reflect upon the whole initiation, what ive experienced, learnt, intuited,
and overcome through the whole Ordeal. I thus feel it has come to a completion,
and I may reap the fruits of my resolution to succeed in this initiatory phase of
my life. Having survived it all, left with my sanity, rewarded with the birth
of another beautiful childe, and being illumined/enlightened.
I now go in peace, harmony, balance, love, and light, with a great sense of humbleness,
appreciation, and respect for Venus, and all that she imbues/imparts.
