Questions, Questings

    To formulate a question presupposes an answer, or answers.  Yet, often frustratingly, our questions lead to insubstantial or inadequate answers, which then spawn countless inquisitory offspring.  More questions.  To understand ourselves and what we’re doing here are common threads to a common theme we all share.

* * *

    Who are you, really?  What are you, truly?  Where, and when, are you from?  Why, you may ask, am I here?  How?

    Standing upright, undressed, facing a mirror, looking at your body; is this you, your Self?  This is your vehicle, and your temple.

    All of your personal belongings, relationships, are but magnetic filings of your experience.  Some stay with you through life and time, some are shed, some forgotten without a thought or backwards glance.

    You, originally, primaly, are an awareness, a consciousness, even before the earliest of social conditionings, a conscience.

    Do you remember?

    Think to what, who you thought yourself to be, before you became what, who you believe you are now.  Conditioning is necessarily part of life on this Earth, and an important one at that.  But also, we’ve each a birthright to rediscover, to reawaken to our original face.  Thus unmasked, we begin to understand the world, others and ourselves.

    With this understanding comes a key to an ability to reconnect with, to reconstruct our Core-Self.  As we understand that core to be as blank or marked as we allow it to remain, we understand that either we can choose to influence and nurture its healing and further growth consciously, or we can choose to allow the world, our environment to influence and shape it.

    So, what are you doing?  Where are you going?  Where have you been?  Who are you being?  That primal condition, conscience, will not fail to notify you if you are living “wrongly”.  You know.  Beneath all other notions of right and wrong remains that from within, that primary instinct and earliest of keys to survival, conscience.  While the outward appearance of things will change, as will the choices to be made, that inward ability, that primal binary yes/no, right/wrong faculty of distinction remains.

    You can either choose to make your own choices, or allow them to be made for you; by default, by the average, by mean standard.

    Your choice is a matter of Quality; of your tools, your relationships, and your life.

    Ask yourself, can there be an answer without a question?  If there is no question is there still need for an answer?  What is your answer?  Can you go on, knowing or not knowing daily, moment to moment, allowing understanding and thus knowledge to arise in and of itself, in its own time?  Or, are you curious?  Perhaps even insatiable?

    Is there something missing, a void?  Something you’re unavoidably avoiding?  Maybe that nothing is truly missing, and that it is it you missing the void?

    Ask yourself, “What really am I seeking, and why?”

    Are you playing a perpetual game of hide and go seek with yourself?  With all and everybody else?

    Ask yourself, “What really am I missing, and how?”

    Can something, which has never been there, here, from the beginning be lost, missing, or gone?

    Is that which you seek, that unformulated question, is it you?  Who?

    Ask yourself, “Who really am I?

    Are you anything but that which is seeking? Creeping and slinking behind the veils of condition, identification and definition, are you that nameless, faceless point; the frightening, because unknowable mystery, less substance and material layering, less conceptual trappings, less the web than the weaver?

    Above, below, beside, before, behind and beyond, ask yourself, “Am I the unwoven weaver?”

    Must you weave so?

* * *

    What do we find?  We find things to fill a perceived absence.  But what if that absence is our essence?  What if our essence of perceived emptiness is that which allows us to build our own foundation of Self?  Yet we go on, in day-to-day momentum, continuing to unconsciously slather layers of material over our true source of potential, oblivious that in looking for ourselves “out there”, we’re losing ourselves “in here”.  Where, may I ask, is the line differentiating “out there” and “in here”?

    The root of “questions” is quest.  We’re all born into a quest of our own, like it or not.  But what if we can allow ourselves to transcend the confusion of the quest, the perceived problem, and tread softly knowing that we’re already at our destination, the solution; that we’ve only to claim rights to owning our own destiny to make it so?

    Could we be here to invent, to play?  Consider the phrase, “to play pretend”, pre-tend.  Could we be here solely to make of ourselves, and our world, that which we Will?  Could it be so simple, that we even get to make up our own reasons and purposes to life for?  Simplicity is one thing; comprehending simplicity through layers of conceptual complexity may not be so.

    Just as the journey, the quest, leads to a sought destination, the answers we seek are often coded within the questions we ask.  Take notice on this point; the answer to be found must be formulated by s/he who formulated the question!  None, outside oneSelf, is qualified to finalize the answer.  Yes, others may offer assistance and guidance, but the final answer is only yours to make.

    Hence, the questions you ask, the answers you provide, become the foundational base for your actualized reality.

    What questions are you asking?  What answers do you seek?  If you know the answers sought, do you truly still have valid questions?  Know what you quest to understand, and know yourself. Knowing yourself, you understand.  Who do you want to be?

    Place cannot remain solid.  It, by nature must change.  The flow staving off the eternal stillness of death's eternity.  Choosing to evolve consciously, so then too do we become more consciously malleable.  We become aware of co-creation with Source.  There seems to be but a single rule.  That is, you must play.

* * *

    Our lives are dynamic processes.  They change and evolve, or remain static and stagnant, as all that surrounds us, and that within us does.  We, as individuals, must choose to direct and produce our own stories.  We may even choose, at times, to not choose.  But the instant we fail, or refuse, to make our own choices, we begin to lose contact and clear communication with our coreSelf, our inspirational spirit.  Our responsibility.

    Our world is a potentially magickal place.  In each of us, our thoughts, our words, our actions, lie latent and semi-realized abilities, which if developed consciously within the individual, begins a further shift; in the actualization of potential in groups, communities, state and State, the World.  Possibly beyond.

    We've dis-integrated our Selves into body, mind and spirit.  Some of us have even chosen at times to consciously disregard important aspects of that separation, losing contact further.  Could this be a key toward understanding our perceived collective "fall from grace"?  This conclusion leading toward the construct of conceived "original sin"?

    I propose that, Self-Willing, each individual choosing to re-integrate these Parts, understanding that They've never been truly separated within their coreSelve's Awareness, is taking great steps to reclaim their sacred connection with the "Source" (dare we say, origin) we all share.  In this reclamation, each betters one's own self in order that all may eventually consciously follow the example when they  too are ready to choose Life for themselves.

    Why not let us see what we can do, who we can be, better?  What have we to lose by taking responsibility for our own evolution?  The way to this path is open for all to follow, at all times, at all places.  Have we truly come this far, traversing such perilous distances of time and space,  and of the accompanying and simultaneous abyss of uncertainty, only to give up "the ship" to entropic disarray?  I say we learn from those who've come before us, and from each other, and cooperate as individuals in designing our eventual, mutual destiny.

    What say we drop "can or can't", and facing reality squarely, choose "do or don't" or better, "will or won't".  At least, this way we'll not be lying to ourselves, or to one another.  Let's reclaim our character, our honor, respectability and trust  it is time we realize that while there are many truths in our World, we must each discover, create and maintain our own individual Truth.  Out of this Truth, comes Trust.

    If, to an extent, all other belief is arbitrary, belief in oneself is required.  For the freedom to choose, to decide who and what you are, is yours.  But it must be claimed.  To claim the right to self-definition is an empowering act. To design and construct, with full awareness of the import of one’s actions, one’s character; to define one’s parameters, one’s program, is to have access to those Hallowed Halls of Divinity within the Master Program; that intelligent software that builds its own hardware which upgrades its own software, and so on.

    Once one chooses to take the full spectrum of responsibility for oneself, one’s living reality, there is no limit to possibility, excepting that self-imposed, enforced.  Probability itself becomes a tangible factor, and the fabric of reality becomes more plastic, malleable.  One can begin constructing, from the shared resources of consensus reality, one’s conceived actuality, one’s dreams.  Imagine for a moment a world of self-actualized citizens, aware of our shared Earth-home, aware of the constructive potential in the concept of potential realized.  Imagine the community, the relationships.  Imagine it all beginning at the core of the individual.

* * *

    What do you believe in?  How do your chosen beliefs serve you, others; or do you serve your beliefs?  We must each take care to identify the sources of our beliefs in order to understand and evaluate the usefulness of our belief systems. We must step back and take a sober, clear look at the anatomy and physiology, the structure and function, of our systems as they are, and as we’d like them to be.  We must identify our beliefs as dynamically life-furthering, stagnantly death-seeking, or wherever they lie along the spectrum.  We can choose what to believe, each for ourselves only if we believe in ourselves’ ability.  For choosing ability is the only way to able-ness, being able.

    Take a moment to ponder the endless webs of philosophy, religion, science, spirituality and so on.  While these fields and others have provided, and continue to provide very important and compelling insights, knowledge and systems, do you truly believe, at your core, that they provide the only ways to map, perceive, conceptualize or utilize the vast world of potential in which we are embedded?

    I believe that for every individual ember, spark or roaring blaze of individual human consciousness there exists a potentially individualized system of belief tailored specifically, because exclusively by, the individual if s/he so chooses.  I also believe that if each individual allows himself or herself to hear, and heed, their Core-Self, these individual systems would naturally tend to a cohesive coexistence in application.

    Do you believe in, or any variation of, the concept of a higher-self?  Call it what you Will.  That primary mover, that primary perception, conscience, that “still, small voice within” which is so easily overlooked, overruled in our day-to-day.  I choose to believe because for much of my life I’d heard, acknowledged and disregarded this small voice as “purely imagination”.  Since I’ve stopped second guessing this information, I’ve been steered clear of many obstacles, I’ve yet to be lead off course.

    I’m not asking you to do, or believe, as I do.  I am asking you to take a moment to think back upon the times, many or few, in which you thought, “If only I could go back…if I’d known then what I know now”, or similar thoughts.  Of course, generally, there can currently be no, “going back” physically, but we do have factors working in our favor.  We have experience learned, wisdom earned, and years of trial and error; not to speak of ancestral or ingrained knowledge.  If we can allow ourselves to rediscover the knowledge of magickal imagination, which we knew instinctively at a young age, we can affect positive change now, in the present moment and into our future.  We can choose to live according to “do, or do not”, instead of “can, or can not”.  It is our choice.

    Do you consciously know the basic premises of your Self?  Do you understand the foundations you’ve built your Self upon?  Are you truly living your life, your Dream?  Do you know what your Dream is?  Will you allow yourself license to hear, to heed your own still, small voice?

    I perceive a World in which Self-motivated individuals choose to increase the value of Life by choosing to trade in, communicate with and to participate by upholding a currency minted in our Spirit: Quality.  If you Will, please join me.  What can we do, who can we be, better?

    Must we weave so?
