Sepher Magdalene

Consider that the Hebrew
word for "tower" or "fortress" (MGDL) is "magdala" in Aramaic.
The word "magdalene", as in, yes, Mary Magdalene, means "of
magdala". This evidently means a city called "Magdala".
Things have names for a reason, so I don't think I'm going too far when
I translate "Magdala" as "the city with the tower" or "the city that is
known for its tower". That is what native Aramaic speakers must
have been thinking of when they said it, so otherwise the name would
have been very irritating and intolerably confusing and they would
simply have called it something else. Thus, "Mary of the City
with the Tower".
Consider that "miriam", Mary, meant bitterness or suffering.
This is all very reasonable. We are analyzing things very
reasonably. Now forget all that and remember that what we are now
talking about is the Bible. There is only one tower of any
importance in the Bible, and that makes it THE tower, the Biblical
tower, the only tower that can ever mean anything to anyone of any
intelligence anywhere, and that is the Tower of Babel.
Now consider that MGDL in Hebrew enumerates to 77, which is 7 x 11,
which is the power of Netzach/Victory reflected through the power of
Daath/Knowledge. Netzach is the sephira associated with the
astrological Venus. Venus is the Goddess of Love. Daath is
the Hebrew word for knowledge, as in knowing, as in Biblical knowing,
as in that particular kind of Love that is not generally spoken of as
felt, but is in fact most usually characterized as made. Adding
the N to MGDL, to spell "Magdalene" requires a special letter, a
NUN-final, which brings the total to 777, which may or may not mean
anything at all but has succeeded absolutely in getting my
attention. From memory, it is the number of the Lightning Flash,
which means the total from the letters of the pathways between the
sephiroth as you descend in numerical order: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,
10. This is exactly the same as, and yet exactly the opposite of,
the total from the letters of the pathways between the sephiroth as you
ascend in numerical order: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
The letters MEM, GIMMEL, DALETH, and LAMED mean Water, Camel, Door, and
Ox-goad, respectively. When read with the correct understanding
they tell a little story, and this is how a hieroglyphic language is
actually supposed to work (in case you didn't already know that).
Altogether I am given the mental impression of a Camel, filled with
Water as Camels are, being Goaded out a certain Door, or perhaps Goaded
away from a certain Door, which may or may not be entirely the same
thing. Perhaps once outside it will be turned into a Fish,
because NUN means Fish. This may be especially meaningful, in
that NUN also, in the Tarot, is Death. A Fish needs Water, but
this turns out to be just fine, because we started with Water
anyway. Or perhaps there won't be any more Water on the other
side of the Door, but that is also probably fine,
because that is of course the whole idea of being a Camel.
MEM, GIMMEL, DALETH, and LAMED correspond also to the Hanged Man, the
Priestess, the Empress, and Justice/Adjustment, respectively, and as we
already know, NUN corresponds to Death. I am given the mental
impression of the Hanged Man (yogi/ascetic) who has sacrificed himself
to the Priestess, who receives him in the name of the Empress, thus
assuring Justice and the Order of the World, or of many slight
variations on this theme. Perhaps the Priestess does not merely
serve but in fact becomes the Empress, or already was the Empress, or
the Hanged Man becomes the Priestess who becomes the Empress etc.,
etc., but these are all slight variations. Now if we add the NUN,
that is Death, which is therefore Rebirth, which is therefore a little
bit Mysterious, and so it is better to say nothing at all.
The foremost Goddess of Babylon was Astarte, whose temples, in a way
not really so unique in the ancient world,
were famous for their sacred prostitution.
"Mary Magdalene" was evidently a priestess of something or other who
was instrumental in forming the early Christian Mysteries but whose
role was later infinitely downplayed in favor of the cult of
Christ. That, or an extremely clever invention.
The Tower of Babel was a scandal because it was attempted rape, and all
the more scandalous because it was successful. Here is a
Mystery. Behold! The Great Whore, the Mother of
Abominations! Behold ye all the Suffering of BABALON.

This was received in a semi-trance state on the morning of 9/29/07:
"The role of a Scarlet Woman is to suffer the abominations of the
Outer, that the Priest may receive them from the Inner, and know them
fully without social ruin. / This is the great and terrible
Mystery of the sacrament of confession. / Pan is not
dead. The rape of Mary is the central Mystery of the Western
tradition, her Virginization is stripped away before those who have
eyes to see."
I'd been working with the Loas/Orishas. The relationship between
the Loas/Orishas and their various Catholic saints is quite well
known... though apparently it is underappreciated.
There is mentioned in the Talmud a "Magdala Nunnaya", meaning "Magdala
of the Fishes", which supposedly was a city that did a lot of fishing
and had a lot of fish. I haven't looked it up, I've never read
the Talmud, so maybe it was just a city, I don't know. But it
suggests to me Yemaya, as in Yemaya the Mother of Fish, very clearly.
Personally, I realized how easy it was to get Yemaya and Oshun
confused, and realized what a problem this was for the entire world in
general. Then the Magdalene current was grounded, more or less by
accident.
