He is pure positive power.
The Crowned and Conquering Child, the Lord of Force
and Fire, Heru is the Sun and the Son.
The raw energy of youth, in our Aeon He
represents rebellion and the breakdown of old
structures.
Har! Hru!
Heru, Golden light of Shu.
Ra-Hoor-Khuit,
Har, Hru, Heru
The mantra given includes different forms or aspects
of Horus:
Har means Child in Ancient Egyptian (Horus is the
child of Isis and Osiris); Hru means Day -Horus is the
daytime sky and visible sun; Heru is His true Egyptian
name, the more commonly-known Horus being a
Greco-Roman equivalent; Ra-Hoor-Khuit is the
particular form depicted, that of the hawk-headed
warrior lord.
Like Shu Heru is a Sky-God, although Heru is more
specifically solar (thus 'golden light'). Shu's sister
and lover Tefnut is also known as Mayet, 'The World
Order', the earliest known form of Maat- so the double
current of Horus and Maat in our Aeon suggests a
reTurn to the Source, to this original double-current
of Tefnut and Shu, the first male and female of the
Ancient Egyptian Pantheon.
