Frog
and Flower - Voltiguer Formula
Acrylic on Paper, 16x20 inches, December 2009
by Frater Tham
The
Frog and the Flower
by Iris E.
Frog feet, feel it
now, not then,
The eternal
when,
Rock the lily
pad,
Tip the boat,
Forgo the
status quo,
So thankful for
this essential gift,
Not necessary,
But like a
berry,
Vital and
sustaining,
This froggie,
jumping,
World to world,
Eating bugs
with his pink,
Inches long
tongue,
What would you
do, he do,
When trapped
inside a room,
Throw himself
against the walls,
Perhaps
discover that we are voodoo!
Privileged just
to enter here,
This box of
yesteryear today,
Dismay, dismay,
Sometimes it
feels this vessel,
Can't contain
the power,
As this poison
is processed,
Body in protest,
Remember...
Remember,
Religion as a
process,
The writing on
the wall,
Messengers,
Riding water
slides of callings,
Go up the down,
down the up,
Falling, rising,
Pleasantly
surmising,
Wash out all
the other,
With the
purple, purple, purple Lover,
Not gray,
Not committal,
But a union of
sheer Will,
Come and go as
they may,
Opposites unite
to find,
Contrary be the
saying,
Not so black
and white,
Between the
lines,
Red and blue,
Settling the
bane and boon,
When Sun
eclipses Moon,
Plant a kiss of
sorts in action,
Savor the swoon,
Under all
represented,
Kabalion
carriers lamenting,
Merges in
androgyny,
Overseeing one
life-lasting hour,
There is seen
two in two in two,
The frog and
the flower blooming.
